The entire thing turns grey as normal references do, including some text that was between references.
For example, when 'track changes' is on in word and I click "accept and move to next" the citation nearest to where I was when I clicked it goes absolutely crazy and becomes two to five pages long and seems to describe the commands from the CSL.
